I am not sure if anyone has ever said this before, but it makes sense. For some reason, people say things like "I did not know what I was doing" or "I chose to do this" or even "this is my decision." And yes, these are all correct statements. However, the statement "I chose to do this" says nothing about why I chose it. It is like saying "This is my decision." Would you say that you chose to get up earlier than usual today? Why does that happen? Without knowing the reason behind your action, it does no good for you or others to simply say that you decided to do something.
